I really want to meet the people who invented HTML. I'd give them a pat on the back and then a slap to the back of the head. Without them, I may not be able to enjoy the Internet or know of its existence at all but without them, I think I'd be able to handle my CMSC 2 class with much more ease and a lot less stress. I only like HTML codes when they're already rendered by the browser. When I see a whole page of HTML codes and then asked to edit, or use them to create another page, I tend to be depressed, breakdown, and experience a form of trauma.
In my opinion, HTML codes are bad, but CSS codes are much much worse. And when you combine something that's already bad with something that's worse, like an exam, you get a whole load of trauma to the brain. As I am writing this, my head is filled with codes and tags for use later in our CSS code exam in CMSC 2. It's so filled with codes that you can see my temple throbbing from a mile away. It's a tough job memorizing and knowing what each code and tag means but it's necessary.
HTML has become one of those things in life that we use everyday but never really know much about and take for granted. By taking the CMSC 2 subject, I show the much needed praise and recogniction to HTML.
